Angelina Aliav, AMFT
Angelina Aliav, AMFT, works with individuals, couples and families to help them get “unstuck” and propel forward towards their goals. Her approach is compassionate, directive and holistic. Angelina specifically works with overcoming identity and self-worth issues, improving interpersonal relationships and life transitions, managing anxiety and depression. She also enjoys working with individuals experiencing difficulty in the dating world and parents who want to regain harmony in their home. Angelina’s goal for all of her patients is for them to regain trust in themselves so they can make courageous decisions in order to live their lives authentically. Angelina is currently working under the supervision of Dr. Hengameh Mahgerefteh at Insight Psychology Group.
Azy Sinanyan, AMFT
Azy Sinanyan, AMFT, works with individuals, couples, and families. Her treatment style is rooted in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and attachment theories. Azy is passionate about helping individuals and couples heal from emotional traumas or difficulties, experience personal growth and reconnection with the self, improve interpersonal relationships, and cultivate the confidence necessary to create a secure and fulfilling life. She believes in the power of healing through the journey of self-discovery and understanding of the self. Azy believes that growth is achieved by the pairing of insight and the implementation of tools and techniques that will be learned in psychotherapy. She also has experience treating individuals with substance abuse and addiction. Azy is currently working under the supervision of Dr. Hengameh Mahgerefteh at Insight Psychology Group. Azy is fluent and able to provide psychotherapy in English and Armenian.
